In this step, we will install most fundamental bug fixing mods

Creating a Separator in MO2

  1. Right-click the empty space in the left pane of MO2 and select Create separator.
  2. Name the separator Bug Fixes.

Installation instructions:

Fixes thousands of bugs with both the base game and DLCs.

Unofficial Patch NVSE Plus

Installation instructions:

Fixes many bugs like YUP, but takes advantage of NVSE and JIP LN.

Installation instructions:

This mod fixes and improves vanilla game pathfinding errors and will provide a better and more challenging experience with the AI.

Installation instructions:

Collection of many configurable quality of life improvements and bug fixes. Settings can be further enabled/disabled/tweaked in the new Tweaks section added to the main menu.

Installation instructions:

Rewrites various slow functions in the game to decrease loading/saving time and improve general performance.

Combat Lag Fix (NVSE)

Installation instructions:

Improves framerate in combat by fixing an engine bug that lowered framerate while attacking an enemy with a health-bar visible.

VATS Lag Fix

Installation instructions:

Fixes an issue that caused the game to wait around 1-2 seconds before showing hit percentages in some cases.

Viewmodel Shake Fix - NVSE

Installation instructions:

Fix for massive shaking during aiming caused by floating point precision loss.

ISControl Enabler and Ironsights adjuster

Installation instructions:

Dynamically adds ISControl node system animation support and easy per-weapon sights adjustment.

Iron Sights Aligned

Installation instructions:

Fixes all the iron sights on vanilla weapon meshes using ISControl Enabler.

3rd Person Animation Fixpack

Installation instructions:

Fixes most animation bugs in 3rd person.

Installation instructions:

Fixes game starting at 23:00 leading to wrong lighting at the start of the game.

Installation instructions:

Fixes a save bloating issue related to actors detecting the player, improving save/load speed and decreasing save size 15-30% depending on playthrough length.

Installation instructions:

Fixes moonlight by making the moon the light caster instead of the sun.

Aqua Performa - Strip Performance Fix

Installation instructions:

Drastically improves performance on The Strip by getting rid of water LOD.

Fallout Alpha Rendering Tweaks - NVSE

Installation instructions:

Fixes some alpha rendering issues like broken effects when using transparency multisampling.

External Emittance Fix - NVSE

Installation instructions:

Fixes incorrect exterior emittance handling which leads to particles being black.

Depth of Field Fix - NVSE

Installation instructions:

Fixes depth of field effects bleeding over onto player's viewmodel.

ExRB - Extended Roombounds

Installation instructions:

Adds and tweaks roombounds in some interiors possibly improving performance.

Strip Lights Region Fix

Installation instructions:

Fixes a vanilla issue about the Strip lights not showing in certain parts of the map.

Swimming Creatures Fix - ESPless

Installation instructions:

Gives the "swim" movement flag to the few vanilla creatures that have anims for that. Now you can be pursued on water by something else than mirelurks.

Slideshow FOV Fix - ESPLess

Installation instructions:

Fixes the size of slideshows when using a custom FOV value.
